And now time for Beta.


After a very successful alpha (as we have talked about in the previous post) we are finally moving into beta production!
In all honestly, with the end of the semester looming ever so closer so the ammount of work has been borderline unbearable. But that doesn't mean Deadlocked_ is slowing down! Now that we have finalized some touches and gone over the feedback we have recieved from the alpha playtests we are finally moving into the last few streaches of production.

For the beta we have already adressed and implemented new features such as:

  •  an input buffer which will look at your last input just before you land so the movement feels even more responsive!
  • A new start round screen to really diffeneciate the players and make sure the players know where and what they are 
  • an even more dynamic camera and post processing!

all of these features are really pushing the game above and beyond what we have innitially imagined and we are loving the way the game is shaping up to be! For the beta release look forward to a visual overhall, a new game mode! and especially new levels to explore and battle in!
