Look at the world through the eyes of a young child, confronting their emotions on living with an estranged parent. 

Experience the struggles of having been brought up in a broken household, through the trippy and messy imagination of the player character and try and escape the dungeon like house, they are forced to stay in. 

Use different tools and find keys to unlock lower floors of the house to final be able to escape, but watch out as monsters lurk around the corner waiting for you.
